Razorfish, Pentegram, Adaptive Path, Frog. What do these agencies have in common besides being some of the biggest names in graphic and web design? They all have agencies in a little town deep in the heart of Texas called Austin. Why Austin? What is it about this place that brings world-class agencies here?
This snowballing scene is what I want to focus on. There are all sorts of events happening in the web design austin scene and I think it would be awesome to give a weekly report on my interactions with the movers and shakers here. I'll be reporting on meetings of web design and development groups, interviewing local designers, and just generally giving my impression of what's going on in the industry and how that is reflected here in Austin.
